A Class by Itself (Life Science/Animal Classification)

This "Read & Understand Science" unit for grades 3-4 investigates how scientists classify animal characteristics and place them in groups. The unit contains a two-page article, plus three skills activities to answer comprehension questions, complete a vocabulary crossword puzzle, and classify an object in the class.
