Haiku

Haiku is one thought expressed in three lines that do not rhyme. There are 5 syllables in the first line, 7 syllables in the second, and 5 syllables in the third. This two-page unit provides examples, teaching suggestions, and a form on which students can organize their thoughts before writing.
