Let Your Heart Shine Through: Bethany Yellowtail's Story (Culturally Responsive Lessons & Activities)

This unit is about Bethany Yellowtail, an Indigenous American fashion designer who founded the brand B.Yellowtail. From a young age Bethany knew that she liked fashion, and she also knew that she loved her culture and that she wanted her career to incorporate her culture. This unit includes a nonfiction story, discussion prompts, partner activities, and a project menu titled “What I Care About” with 4 choices of projects that are either hands-on or performance-based.
