An individual classroom subscription may not be shared among teachers, however, the option for a school site subscription is available.

  • Q: Does Evan-Moor sell my contact information?
Evan-Moor is very concerned about your privacy and has a very strict privacy policy in regard to sharing or selling your information. Please read our privacy policy or contact our Customer Service department if you have any questions.
  • Q: How long can I use my printed materials?
TeacherFileBox provides a license to use all materials on the site only while your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription, the license to use materials is no longer in effect, and you may no longer use the materials. Any materials that you have printed from TeacherFileBox must be destroyed immediately. (See Terms and Conditions.)

Searching for Units and Lessons

  • Q: How do I search for a teaching unit? Can I search by keyword?

You can search for lessons in a variety of ways by creating filters for grades, curriculum areas, standards, keywords, and Evan-Moor book titles.

Your search filters will show in the Selected Filters area. Be sure to select UPDATE RESULTS once you have made changes to your search.

Your search results will remain available to you until you close your browser.

    • Search by Grade Level
Use the grade-level slider to narrow down your search results. Select one grade or range of grades by adjusting both handles of the slide bar. Results will update immediately.
    • Search by Curriculum, Theme, Holidays
Under Available Filters, expand a heading by clicking on the GREEN ARROW or KEY WORD. For example, expand Curriculum and expand a subject area, such as Math. After expanding the filter, select a topic and it will be added to your Selected Filters area. Be sure to select UPDATE RESULTS when finished.
    • Search by Tags
In the search results, select one or more tags under the thumbnail images of teaching units. The tag will be added to the Selected Filters area.
    • Search by state and Common Core State Standards correlations

Under the Standards header on the left of your screen, use the drop down menu to choose state standards or Common Core State Standards and the grade level. Select CHOOSE STANDARDS.

A standards “tree” will be displayed and you can expand the tree until you find a specific standard you would like to search for. Select the box (or boxes) for the standards you are interested in and then select APPLY STANDARDS. The selected standard(s) will be added to the Selected Filters area.

It’s important to select UPDATE RESULTS. The search results on the right will now show units that have been aligned to that particular standard.

    • Search by Keyword

Type the keyword you’d like to target in the search box located in the top-right corner of your screen. As you type, a list of suggestions will be displayed below the search field. Selecting one of these search terms will automatically apply that keyword to your search results.

Note: You can only have one keyword at time in the Selected Filters area. Each new term that is selected will replace the previous term in your Selected Filters area.

    • Search by Keyword and Grade Range

To search by keyword within PreK–K, 1–3, 4–6, or 7–8, simply use the slide bar to select the range of grades, and then type the keyword(s) you would like to target in the search box. Select UPDATE RESULTS. The search looks for the keyword(s) you specify in the title, description, and activities of each teaching unit within your grade range.

    • Managing Filters

You can easily clear specific search terms by clicking on the “x” next to the filter name and then selecting UPDATE RESULTS.

Subscription Information

  • Q: How do I renew my subscription?

If you paid by credit card your subscription auto-renews every year or every month, depending on your subscription type. If you paid by purchase order, please submit a new P.O. prior to the renewal date to avoid the cancellation of your subscription.

Please visit our Terms and Conditions page or contact our Customer Service department for additional information.

To renew a canceled credit card subscription, go to TeacherFileBox.com, log in, and select the Subscribe tab at the top of the screen. Next, select the monthly or annual subscription option, then the ADD TO CART button. Proceed with the checkout process.

Tags

  • Q: What are tags?

Tags are descriptors that help to identify a teaching unit and help you more efficiently find and organize your units. Once created and attached to a unit, tags become one of the unit’s properties. You can use tags to further refine the way you search and organize your units! You will find that each unit has tags associated with it based on the unit’s content.

  • Q: How do I tag a unit or lesson?
    1. From a unit overview page, type keyword(s) in the Tag It! box.
    2. My Tags on the home screen shows your most recent tags.
