Quick Tips for Getting Started
The new My FileBox provides you with more options for organizing your teaching units than ever before.

  • Adding new units to your filebox
You can add teaching units to your filebox in two ways.

    1. From the search results page. Click the Add to Filebox button to open the filebox window.
    2. From the teaching unit detail page. Click the Add button on the My FileBox Options tab.

Both options will open up a filebox window. From the window, select the folder or folders you would like to file your teaching unit under. If you haven't created any folders yet, your teaching unit will automatically be filed under My FileBox.

If you have already added a teaching unit to your filebox, an In FileBox button will display next to the unit detail information. To view what folders the teaching unit is filed under or to file the unit in additional folders, click the In FileBoxbutton to pull up your filebox window.

  • Adding units to your Lesson Planner
You can add teaching units to your lesson planner from any unit detail page.

    - To assign a teaching unit to a specific date or time in your lesson planner, click the Create button on the My FileBox Options tab. This will take you to your Lesson Planner, where you can create an event.

    - To create an event, fill out the details for the event in the fields on the left. Then, assign teaching units from your filebox using the Assign Units window.

You can assign the entire unit by selecting the green unit icon. Or you can assign individual pages from the unit, by expanding the unit and selecting the blue activity icon for each activity you would like to add.

Once you've added a teaching unit or activity, it will show up in the assigned units section of the lesson plans event.
