Are answer keys provided with teaching units?
Most of the teaching units contain answer keys. On the right side of the detail page, you will find a listing of the pages found within a teaching unit. If a teaching unit has answer keys, it will be indicated in this area.

Are the teaching units cross-curricular?
Many teaching units in TeacherFileBox.com are cross-curricular. Each unit includes information as to whether or not it has been filed in multiple curricula. Refer to the Filed Under area on the teaching unit detail page. This details how a unit is cataloged in TeacherFileBox.com. The corresponding link will take you to teaching units that share the same skills/topics/characteristics.

You can create lesson plans anytime and anywhere! This resource is available to you 24/7.

Can I save teaching units to my computer?
No. TeacherFileBox.com is a print-on-demand service that allows you to print materials from any computer for the duration of your subscription. In order to take full-advantage of the service, we recommend you have a printer hooked up to the computer you will be using the site with most often.

Can I share my subscription and printed materials with my colleagues or friends?
No. You may print any of the TeacherFileBox.com materials on any single computer for your personal noncommercial use only. (See Terms and Conditions.) The license is granted to you, as a single individual, and the materials may not be used outside your classroom or home. Materials from TeacherFileBox.com may not be used in multiple homes, classrooms, or throughout your entire school or school district.

Can I subscribe to TeacherFileBox.com with a purchase order?
Yes, you can subscribe to TeacherFileBox.com with a purchase order when you sign up for an annual subscription or site license.
To subscribe to TeacherFileBox.com with a purchase order simply call 1-800-777-4362 (available M-F 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. PST) and a customer service representative will help you set up your account
Before calling please have the following information available:
- Your email address and contact information.
- The billing information (now accepting credit card or purchase orders) for the site license account.
- If you are signing up for a site license: The first name, last name, and email address of each user you would like added to the account. Please have the information in a delineated tabbed file (such as Excel) for easy file transfer.

How can I change my billing term from monthly to annual?
You can change your subscription to TeacherFileBox.com at any time. Log on to TeacherFileBox.com and click on the My Account link in the left sidebar. Click on Edit under Subscription Info. Under Subscription Level, select the appropriate subscription level and click on the Submit button.
To change your subscription from a monthly to an annual billing, select Annual. This will change your billing cycle from every month to once a year. An annual subscription renews itself every 365 days.
To change your subscription from an annual to a monthly billing, select Monthly. Then, please contact customer service and we will arrange to convert your account to a monthly billing when your annual subscription expires.

How do I cancel my subscription?
To cancel your subscription to TeacherFileBox.com go to the My Account link in the left sidebar. Click on Edit under Subscription Info. Under Subscription Level, select the Unsubscribe button and click on the Submitbutton.
This will immediately unsubscribe you from TeacherFileBox.com and you will not be refunded for the remaining days on your account. Once unsubscribed, you will not be able to print materials from TeacherFileBox.com, and any materials that you have printed while subscribed to TeacherFileBox.com must be destroyed immediately.
You will receive an email confirming your cancellation. You do not need to reply to the confirmation notice. Your subscription will not auto-renew at the next billing period.
If you re-subscribe within 90 days of cancelling you will find the information in your FileBox intact. Reactivating your account will reset your billing date, and you will be charged upon reactivation.
Your FileBox and account information will be permanently deleted 90 days after you unsubscribe.

How do I change my profile/contact/billing information?
Click on the My Account link on the left navigation bar. This will take you to your account page. You will be able to edit all your contact and billing information in this area. Your subscription will continue with no loss of information.
The account is self-renewing: If for any reason there is a problem with processing your subscription, you will receive notification.

How do I change my user name and password?
Click on the My Account link and select Change Password link. You will be sent an e-mail verifying that you would like to reset your password. Follow the instructions on this email. Your subscription will continue with no loss of information.

How do I change which state my TeacherFilebox.com account is personalized to?
We've personalized your TeacherFileBox.com account to your state's standards by selecting the state from your billing address. If this is incorrect, contact us and let us know which U.S. state you'd like your filebox personalized with.

How do I find state correlations for TeacherFileBox.com teaching units?
Once you've found an activity marked with the State Standards Correlated seal, visit that teaching unit's Detail page. From the Detail page, select the Unit Correlations tab and fill out your grade, and standard to get a detailed chart of the standardized skills and performance objectives that teaching unit addresses.

How do I print activities?
In order to print from TeacherFileBox.com you must be logged in to your account.
After logging into your account, you can print TeacherFileBox.com activities using one of the following four options:
Print from any teaching unit Preview window
- From the Preview window, click the Print button to the right of the Teacherfilebox.com logo.
Print from any teaching unit Detail page
- From the Detail page, select the Printing Options tab below the unit description.
- Under the column marked Print Activities, you can either choose to print the entire activity or select and print individual pages from the unit.
Print from any Browse Teaching Units list
- From the Browse Teaching Units list click the Print Activitybutton to the right of the unit you would like to print.
Print from your Lesson Plans page:
- To get to your Lesson Plans, select the My Lesson Plans tab in the left sidebar.
- From your Lesson Plans, select the date you plan to use the activity you would like to print from the calendar.
- Select the activity you would like to print from the Planned for Today table at the bottom of the page.

I am on a school computer and am having problems printing. What should I do?
Many schools prohibit the installation of third-party software and the Flash plug-in that is required to use TeacherFileBox.com successfully.
To preview and print TeacherFileBox.com activities, you need to have the Flash plugin installed on your computer. If you don't have the Flash plugin click here to get it free.
If you are on a school network that will not allow you to download the plug in, contact your network administrator about setting up your computer to use TeacherFileBox.com.

How do I renew my subscription?
Your subscription auto-renews every month or every year.
If you have allowed your subscription to lapse, your personal FileBox will be saved for 90 days. This will allow you to renew without losing the File Folders, Lessons Plans, Profile, or Journal you've created in TeacherFileBox.com.
To renew your subscription, log in to your FileBox and click on the My Account link in the left sidebar. Verify that your credit card information is valid by performing the following steps:
- Click on the Payment Info "Edit" link under My Subscription.
- Enter your credit card information and click on the Submit button.
Once you have verified your payment information, you will need to select a subscription level to reactivate your account. To select a subscription level:
- Click the Subscription Info "Edit" link under My Subscription.
- Select a subscription type and click the Submit button.
Once you click on the Submit button, your account will be charged based on the subscription type you have selected, and, if your credit card is accepted, your account will be activated immediately.

How do I save teaching units to My FileBox?
You can add teaching units to your filebox in two ways.
- From the search results page.
Click the Add to Filebox button to open the filebox window.
- From the teaching unit detail page.
Click the Add button on the My FileBox Options tab.
Both options will open up a filebox window. From the window, select the folder or folders you would like to file your teaching unit under. If you haven't created any folders yet, your teaching unit will automatically be filed under My FileBox.
If you have already added a teaching unit to your filebox, an In FileBox button will display next to the unit detail information. To view what folders the teaching unit is filed under or to file the unit in additional folders, click the In FileBox button to pull up your filebox window.

How do I search for a teaching unit? Can I search by keyword?
You can search for teaching units in a variety of ways:
Search by grade level
Select a grade tab. You can search within a grade range by:
- curriculum
- skill
- holiday
- theme
Search by state correlations
To search by state standards correlations, use the Correlations Search link located underneath the keyword search box in the top right corner of your screen. The easy step-by-step process allows you to narrow your search by grade, standard, and subject area.
Search by keyword
Type the keyword(s) you'd like to target in the search box located in the top right corner of your screen. The search looks for the keyword(s) you specify in the title, description, and activities of each teaching unit in TeacherFileBox.com's entire database of activities.
Search by keyword and grade level
To search by keyword within PreK-K, 1-3, or 4-6, simply click on the desired tab, then type the keyword(s) you would like to target in the search box. The search looks for the keyword(s) you specify in the title, description, and activities of each teaching unit within your grade range.
Search by using an advanced search
To narrow your search, use the Advanced Search link located underneath the keyword search box in the top right corner of your screen. Advanced search will allow you to customize your search to:
- Specific grade levels rather than a grade-level range
- Curriculum
- Theme
- Holidays
- Specific topics and/or skills

How do I search using state standards correlations?
To search by state standards correlations, use the Search by Standard link located underneath the keyword search box in the top right corner of your screen. The easy step-by-step process allows you to narrow your search by grade, standard, and subject area.

How do I select and print individual pages from a teaching unit?
You can select and print individual pages from a teaching unit two ways.
1. From any teaching unit's Preview window.
- Find the page you would like to print.
- Click the Print this page button to the right of the Teacherfilebox.com logo.
2. From any teaching unit's Detail page.
- From the Detail page, select the Printing Options tab below the unit description.
- Under the column marked Print Activities you will see a list of pages. To preview a page click on the page name. To print a page click on the Print button to the left of the page you would like to print. You can also print the entire teaching unit by selecting Print Entire Unit.

How do I view and print my payment history?
To view and print your payment history, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your account.
- Click the My Account link in the left sidebar and then select View under Payment History.
- You will see a list of the payments you have made. Each payment is listed with the statement date, the amount, and a link to view and print the invoice.
- To print an invoice, click on the red printer icon next to the payment you would like to print the invoice for. This will take you to a printer-friendly version of the invoice.
- Select the click here to print link at the bottom of the page to print the invoice.

How does a site license work?
A site license allows you to assign multiple users to one annual account and save on subscription fees. Site licenses are great for school or district purchases and allow individual users to manage their own FileBox settings.
To sign up for a site license simply call 1-800-777-4362 (available M–F 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. PST) and a customer service representative will help you set up your account.
Before calling please have the following information available:
- Your email address and contact information.
- The billing information (now accepting credit card or purchase orders) for the site license account.
- The first name, last name, and email address of each user you would like added to the account. Please have the information in a delineated tabbed file (such as Excel) for easy file transfer.

How does the subscription service work?
TeacherFileBox.com has an auto-renewing subscription. Your account will be charged every 30 days, based on the activation date. Once you have started your subscription, you will have full access to organizing and printing any of the teaching units/activities, and full use of everything TeacherFileBox.com has to offer.

How long can I use my printed materials?
TeacherFileBox.com provides a license to use all materials on the site only if your subscription is active. If you cancel your subscription, that license is no longer in effect, and you may no longer use the materials. Any materials that you have printed from TeacherFileBox.com must be destroyed immediately. (See Terms and Conditions.)

How long does a teaching unit stay in My FileBox?
A teaching unit stays in your FileBox indefinitely, or up to 90 days after an account is cancelled, whether intentionally or unintentionally. You may add or remove as many activities as you wish.

How long will my teaching unit or activity take to print?
The amount of time it takes a file to print varies depending on your Internet connection and speed.
Approximate printing times for a 1-page activity are as follows:

| DSL, Cable, T1: | 2 seconds |
Please note: We endeavor to keep teaching units and activity sizes small because the information must transfer through your Internet connection. If you have a slower connection, activities with a lot of color or art will print more slowly than those without.

If you are not able to print a specific lesson, contact our customer service department. Be ready to tell the customer service representative the title and grade level of the lesson.

If you are using Internet Explorer 6.0 and are attempting to print from TeacherFileBox.com, you may experience problems previewing units.
To print TeacherFileBox.com activities, you need to update to Internet Explorer 8.0 or the Firefox Web Browser (recommended).

If you are have installed Flash and cannot view activities you are most likely using Internet Explorer 6.0.
To print TeacherFileBox.com activities, you need to update to Internet Explorer 7.0 or the Firefox Web Browser (recommended).

Click on the Forgot Password? link below the log-on area and input your e-mail address. TeacherFileBox.com will send you a request to reset your password.

My account is marked inactive. What should I do?
Your My FileBox Summary page will tell you the reason your account has been marked inactive and provide steps for updating your account information. To get to your My FileBox Summary, select the My Account link in the left sidebar.
If your credit card was declined, this means that there are either insufficient funds in your account or there is a discrepancy between the information in your TeacherFileBox.com account and your bank or credit card information.
In order to verify your billing information, please follow these steps:
- Log in to your account by going to www.teacherfilebox.com.
- Select the My Account link in the left sidebar and then select Edit under Payment Info.
- Enter your billing information exactly as it appears on your credit card or bank statement and click on the Submit button.
If you have verified your billing information and your account is still marked inactive, please contact your bank to inquire about what actions are needed to resolve this matter. To protect customer security, Evan-Moor is unable to access your personal financial account.
If your account still appears inactiveafter you have followed the steps above, please contact our customer service department for further assistance.

When I try to print, the teaching unit is scaled up and is printed too large on my paper. What do I do?
If you are trying to print a teaching unit but the activity is printing too large, your printer may be having problems printing images from Flash. In order to print the unit, try setting your printer to print in black and white, or use another printer if available.
If you have changed printers and still cannot print correctly, report a problem and one of our experts will assist you as soon as possible.

The print button is missing from the preview window. What do I do?
If you do not see the print button when previewing a unit, it is because you are not logged in to your account.
In order to print from TeacherFileBox.com, you must be logged in to your account.
After logging in to your account, the print button will appear in the Preview window to the right of the Teacherfilebox.com logo.

I'm trying to preview a unit, but the unit preview is taking too long to load. What do I do?
If you are trying to preview a unit but the preview window is loading slowly or appears to be stuck, your computer's browser may be having problems dynamically loading images. In order to refresh the unit preview, close out of the preview window and try opening it again.
If you have refreshed the preview window and still cannot preview teaching units, please report a problem, and one of our experts will assist you as soon as possible.

What grade ranges are covered in TeacherFileBox.com?
TeacherFileBox.com covers grades PreK–6, although there are many materials that would be appropriate for differentiated learning environments across higher grade levels.

What is My Account?
Your My Account allows you to view and manage your TeacherFileBox.com account information. In My Account you can view your subscription information, payment history, or payment information, or change your style and profile picture. Also, in My Account you can change other account options, such as your email address, password, and billing information.

What is My Lesson Plans?
The My Lesson Plans area is an incredibly powerful tool that allows you to further organize and plan activities! This tool pulls activities from your FileBox folders and enables you to attach them to specific events. You can view your lesson plans by day, week, or month.
To create lesson plans:
- Click on the My Lesson Plans link and select View by Day. The month is indicated at the top right of your screen. Click on the forward or backward arrows to select the correct month.
- Select the day from the calendar.
- Click on the hour you would like to plan for.
- Choose whether this will be a one-time event or a recurring event.
- Input a title for your lesson.
- Choose a start time and an end time.
- Add notes that would be pertinent for that lesson.
- If you would like to attach an activity, activities that you have in your file folders will be available on the right side of your screen. Select the correct folder and check the activity you wish to attach to the event.
Note: If you have created folders that do not have activities in them, those folders will not be available. - Click on the Submit button.
You will be taken back to the day view of your lesson plan. You will notice that the event now has an icon indicating that there is an activity attached to that event. This is a reminder.
In the weekly and daily views, you will see a listing of planned events. This area indicates which teaching unit/activity you have attached to an event and gives you a print status. This tool keeps track of what you have printed, so you don't have to!
You can now print the activity or activities attached to the event by selecting the event and clicking in the Print button.
